Tukufu Zuberi is Director of the Center for Africana Studies and Professor of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. He has written more than 40 scholarly articles, and co-edited four special volumes: including the special issues of the December 2000 Black Scholar and March 2000 Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science and a volume of Race and Society on Racial Statistics. He directs two research projects: the African Census Analysis Project and the Interracial Contact and Social Stratification Project.
